Description
This recipe recreates the famous Raising Cane’s Fried Chicken, Texas Toast, and Sauce. Crispy chicken tenders marinated in buttermilk, coated in seasoned flour, served with a creamy dipping sauce, and paired with buttery Texas toast.

Marinade:
- 3 chicken breasts, cut longways into strips
- 350ml buttermilk
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
Sauce:
- 1 cup mayo
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcester sauce
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
Dredge:
- 1.5 cups plain flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
Texas Toast:
- 2 slices thick-cut bread
- Mayo
Instructions
- Marinade: Mix buttermilk, salt, white pepper, and garlic powder. Marinate chicken in the mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Sauce: Combine mayo, ketchup, Worcester sauce, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Refrigerate.
- Dredge: Mix flour, salt, white pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge marinated chicken in flour mixture and fry until cooked through.
- Texas Toast: Spread mayo on bread slices and brown in a non-stick pan.
- Serve the fried chicken tenders with Texas toast, crinkle chips, and the dipping sauce.
