Ingredients
Scale
Turkey Wings and Seasoning
- 4 pounds turkey wings (4 large turkey wings)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning (salt-free)
Lemon Pepper Butter Sauce
- 6 Tablespoons salted butter (I use Kerrygold)
- 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
Garnish
- Lemon wedges or slices (optional)
- Minced parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat your oven to 400° F (200° C). Line a 9 by 13 inch sheet pan with aluminum foil to ensure easy cleanup after baking.
- Prep and season turkey wings: Cut the full turkey wings at the joints, discarding tips or saving for stock. Rinse wings and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine wings with salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried parsley, and lemon pepper seasoning. Toss thoroughly to coat evenly.
- Bake turkey wings: Place the seasoned wings on the prepared baking sheet and put in the oven. Bake for 1 hour total, flipping the wings after 30 minutes to ensure even cooking. Wings are done when an instant-read thermometer reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part without touching bone.
- Make lemon pepper butter sauce: While wings bake, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in lemon pepper seasoning to combine.
- Toss turkey wings with lemon pepper butter sauce: Transfer baked wings to a large bowl and pour the lemon pepper butter sauce over them. Toss well so each wing is evenly coated. Alternatively, brush both sides of each wing with the sauce using a basting brush.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with additional lemon pepper seasoning, lemon wedges or slices, and minced parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!

- If desired, save turkey wing tips for homemade stock to reduce waste.
