- Preheat and prepare baking pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil and heat it in a 425°F oven while you prepare the glaze, ensuring the pan is just large enough to hold the chicken breasts with about half an inch of space around each.
- Make the glaze: Melt the butter in a small sauté pan over medium heat, add the minced garlic, and cook for 30-60 seconds until fragrant but not browned. Stir in honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the glaze begins to reduce.
