- 1/2 cup chopped onion, about 1 small onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, finely chopped, or 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme or poultry seasoning
For the green beans
- 1 lb fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- Pinch red pepper flakes, optional
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 lemon, divided
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Butterfly the chicken breasts, season, and cook until golden.
