  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped, fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry and season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook Pasta: Boil pasta until al dente; reserve pasta water.
  3. Cook Shrimp: Sauté shrimp in butter and oil until cooked; set aside.
  4. Make Sauce: Sauté garlic, then add milk, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and Parmesan; stir until thickened.
  5. Combine: Toss pasta in sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed. Add shrimp and parsley.
  6. Serve: Season to taste, garnish with parsley, and serve with grated Parmesan.
