Ingredients

Units Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp milk
  • 3/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1 cup cooked chopped chicken

To Assemble

  • 4 or 5 large burrito tortillas (10-inch)

Instructions

  1. Mix Filling — In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, shredded cheddar cheese, 1 Tbsp milk, chopped bacon, and cooked chopped chicken. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated and the mixture is smooth. Add an additional tablespoon of milk, if needed, to reach a spreadable consistency.
  2. Spread on Tortillas — Place one tortilla on a flat surface. Spread about 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture evenly over the entire tortilla, reaching almost to the edges for best results.
  3. Roll Up — Starting from one side, roll the tortilla up gently but tightly, ensuring the filling is encased and the roll holds its shape.
  4. Chill — Place the rolled tortillas in the refrigerator and chill them for about 30 minutes. This allows the cheese to firm up, making the pinwheels easier to slice.
  5. Slice and Serve — Using a sharp knife, trim off the ends of the tortilla rolls. Cut each roll into 1-inch slices. Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can make the pinwheels ahead of time and refrigerate overnight before slicing for maximum convenience.
  • Ensure tortillas are tightly rolled to help pinwheels hold their shape when slicing and serving.
  • Feel free to substitute the bacon or chicken with turkey bacon or rotisserie chicken for variety.
  • For a fresher touch, add finely chopped chives or green onions to the filling.
