Celebrate the holiday season with this festive Christmas Antipasto Platter featuring smoked pepper jack cheese, sliced salami, fresh mozzarella, marinated olives, sweet peppers, and vibrant garnishes arranged in a beautiful Christmas tree shape. This no-cook appetizer is perfect for holiday parties and can be served with crackers or crostini to delight your guests with a variety of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheeses

  • 8 ounces smoked pepper jack cheese, cut into slices and then triangles
  • 1 pound fresh mozzarella balls

Meats

  • 8 ounces sliced salami

Vegetables & Olives

  • 1 pound grape or cherry tomatoes, sliced in half if on the larger side
  • 1 pound container of marinated olives (green, black, or a combination)
  • 8 ounces Sweety Drop Peppers
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into a star shape for the top of the tree

Condiments & Garnishes

  • 8 ounces olive tapenade
  • Fresh rosemary for garnish
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish

Serving

  • Crackers or crostini for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Yellow Bell Pepper Star: Cut a strip off the flat side of the yellow bell pepper. Use a star-shaped cooking cutter to cut out a star shape for the top of your Christmas tree platter. If you don’t have a cutter, carefully cut the star shape by hand with a knife.
  2. Arrange the Antipasto Ingredients: On a large serving platter, assemble the cheese slices, salami, tomatoes, marinated olives, mozzarella balls, and Sweety Drop Peppers into a triangular shape resembling a Christmas tree. This visual arrangement adds a festive touch to your appetizer presentation.
  3. Add Garnishes: Garnish the tree-shaped platter with fresh rosemary sprigs for a pine-tree effect and sprinkle pomegranate seeds for a pop of color and holiday cheer.
  4. Top with the Bell Pepper Star: Place the yellow bell pepper star on top of the triangle to complete the Christmas tree look.
  5. Serve with Crackers or Crostini: Provide a generous selection of crackers or crostini on the side so guests can build their own bites with the antipasto ingredients.

Notes

  • This antipasto platter is a simple, no-cook holiday appetizer that beautifully serves a crowd and will be the centerpiece of your party spread.
  • Feel free to customize with other cured meats or cheeses to your preference.
  • Sweety Drop Peppers add mild sweetness and vibrant color, but you can substitute with mini sweet peppers if unavailable.
