- 1 tbsp heavy cream
Instructions
- Prepare the Apples: Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Slice each apple into thick wedges, about 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide. Insert wooden sticks into one end of each apple slice, ensuring they hold firmly for easy dipping and eating.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips or melts with coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, use a double boiler by placing chocolate in the top section over simmering (not boiling) water, stirring until melted and shiny, then mix in coconut oil for extra smoothness.
- Dip in Chocolate: Holding each apple slice by the stick, dip into the melted chocolate and coat evenly. Let excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
