- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons unsalted beef stock/broth
Quesadillas:
- 12 ounces shredded cheese blend (cheddar, Monterey jack, pizza mozzarella)
- 6 flour tortillas (7 to 8 inches in diameter)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
For Serving:
- Salsa, guacamole, and/or sour cream (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Seasoned Ground Beef: In a large non-stick frying pan, cook ground beef with spices until browned.
- Assemble Quesadillas: Fill tortillas with cheese and seasoned ground beef, then fold in half.
- Cook Quesadillas: Heat oil in a pan, cook quesadillas until golden and cheese is melted.
- Serve: Cut quesadillas into halves and enjoy with salsa, guacamole, and sour cream.
